Preliminary consultation
Dickson Russell would meet the client to
establish the image and identity the client wishes to project
through its art collection
develop a focus for the collection
establish a budget for the project to include artwork purchases
and attendant costs
review any existing artworks and incorporate with art programme,
or arrange disposal, as required
Following these early discussions, Dickson Russell would provide
a budget breakdown and floor plans showing sites selected for
display of artworks for the client's approval

Art selection
Dickson Russell would
give
a slide presentation to the client to establish visual preferences source artworks for presentation to the client from galleries,
artists, private dealers, degree shows, art fairs, auction houses,
or through commission, as appropriate

Presentation
Dickson Russell would
schedule presentation on client's premises at client's convenience
arrange
presentation using the services of professional shippers and
art handlers
present a number of possible pieces for each location
provide client with total value of all artworks to ensure adequate
insurance cover is in place during presentation period
arrange for selected artworks to remain on consignment with
the client while client makes final decisions

Post-presentation
Dickson Russell would co-ordinate
return of artwork not selected
framing of selected work, where necessary
installation of all selected work
invoicing of all purchased work and third party services
labelling, photographing and cataloguing of artwork as required

Fees and invoicing
Dickson Russell
charges its clients on a time basis for any project
takes no commission on the sale of any artwork
invoices third party services at cost
passes on directly to the client any trade discounts obtained
invoices clients on a monthly basis for all fees, artworks and
third party services
