Project to devise art competition to raise awareness of asthma and plight of sufferers.
Dickson Russell selected work from open submission for final exhibition and curated week-long show, held at Jerwood Space, London SE1. Exhibits included jewellery, sculpture, textiles, installation, painting, printmaking and photography.
Prize-winners selected by judges: art critic, Rachel Campbell Johnston; artist, Gavin Turk; TV presenter and writer, John Lloyd; director of Jerwood Space, Richard Lee.
Dickson Russell also invited donations and co-managed associated auction of work by celebrated artists, including Tracey Emin, Damien Hirst, Gavin Turk, Olly and Suzi and Quentin Blake, as an additional fundraising event.
